Every Cat Has Her Day They say...or was it a Dog?

Dang! I should be more consistent with this. How would any of you Soapsters know I'm still alive and kicking, well as much kicking as I can do in a wheelchair or this bed.

Purrsimmonds, my Calico says "meow" to you all. Right now, she's playing madly with those little air-bags they put in the boxes instead of the "popcorn" Styrofoam they use in packing. No matter how many times it pops in her face when her nail goes through it, she persists. She's growing quite clever really since I've rescued her, or maybe she rescued me....I've grown quite fond of her... unfortunately, my adult son who helps me clean my house, is highly allergic to her, so he ends up over here sneezing and red-eyed and makes me wonder if I have to decide between my son and Purrsimmonds. He insists, God love him, that he's not here THAT much to make him REALLY sick, so keep her. He knows how sad it would make me, still, it's hard when you realize your causing illness to your son. My older daughter who's coming to visit me here in Utah this Summer tells me she is allergic as well......oh Blast, I just can't win....But anyway, clever she is getting, the cat, not my daughter, although she is brilliant in her own right... my daughter ,I mean, not the cat.. I keep a water jug with a lift up spigot next to my bed so I can drink water without having to get up and down at night...well, Purrsimmonds has learned when she climbs on my puter desk (which also holds her treat jar)she can put her paw down on the handle and water pours out so she can drink the drops from the spout after the water drains out onto my impressively cheap apt. carpet..you know the kind, tan, short pile, the type that when you first move in you burn out a few vacuums because the pile comes up in the Vac so after a few rounds on the floors, your stepping on carpet tacks because all the yarn is in the Vacuum bag.

Well the weather last week went from 90+ to in the low 50's and raining. Sort of jumped into a very mild Spring unlike last year where it was horrible hot to where you didn't know where Spring ended and Summer began.

Well, we found out that my 3 Yr old grandson is Autistic. It's my daughter's second child, her first child is several years older than he is. But, he's going to a special school and loves his teacher which is great because I have yet to be able to hold him, seriously!. He stuck to mommy like glue, course, now we understand why, so him letting someone else hold him is major. My daughter is a brick. A rock. I'm sure there are times she will cry a bit, even ask why?. But, I raised her to know God doesn't make mistakes. HE is aware of ALL HIS Children. He knew My daughter had the strength to handle this..that her love would be strong ,not just for her son, but for God Himself, where she gets her strength. He's a beautiful boy and he has a beautiful sister. And my Daughter is the heart.

Well, going to bed now..Purrsimmonds is jumping on my tummy and knocking the keyboard out of my hands LOL.... She wants the treat jar. Odd, they smell good... humm... I'd better eat something if this sounds good LOL...

God Bless you Soapster Family
