Victor and Jack recruit for their plan, Sharon tells Nick her suspicions, and Adam is lured to the cabin!
In the burger joint out on the highway, Adam writes Sharon a letter telling her that he loves her and will never stop fighting for her as long as he lives! A man comes into the diner and asks, "Adam Newman?" They shake hands and the man, Richard Hightower, tells Adam what he did was amazing - it's great to get to thank him! Richard asks Adam, "I have to ask, why me?" Adam suggests they go to a sports bar, but the man has his son with him. The little boy also thanks Adam for whatever it was the he did. Adam says he has to go - they'll reschedule.
Sharon is with Victor at the Ranch. She shares her suspicions about her baby with him. Victor hugs her. She tells him she doesn't know how Adam could have seen her in pain over losing her child and not say anything. Victor tells her that he and Jack Abbott have a plan - they need her help. After Victor shares his idea, Sharon insists she wants no part of it - she doesn't want to dredge all that up again! Victor remarks that if there is even the slightest chance that the baby is alive, she has to do this! Sharon agrees, but stipulates that she be the one who tells Nick about the baby.
Jack arrives at Ashley's house and she fills him in on what she and Sharon learned while making phone calls. Jack tells her that he and Victor have come up with a plan - he'll tell Ash, but she's not going to like it!
Victoria is at the tack house. She tells Phyllis and Nick that she is going to have a movie night with Summer - they should go out. When she heads upstairs, Nick and Phyllis muse that Vikki is hurting over the end of her marriage. She comes back down, and Nick and Phyllis go up to get dressed for a night out. Vikki plumps the pillows on the sofa and thinks of her kiss with Billy. Nick and Phyllis come downstairs, and are about to leave when Victor arrives. He says he is going to deal with Adam and needs their help. They agree, and Nick goes with Victor, leaving Phyllis to do her part.
Billy is at Crimson Lights with Rafe, who is telling him he has moved on from Adam with a guy named Brian. Billy is glad for him. Billy gets a call from Jack asking him to come to Ashley's. As he leaves, he passes Heather. She sits down with Rafe after greeting Billy. Heather says she wants to talk to Rafe about Adam - she wishes she knew why he treated them the way he did. Rafe says maybe he just gets his kicks that way - they'll probably never find out! They discuss things further and come to an understanding.
As Jack and Ashley bicker in her house about her going up against Adam in court - Jack doesn't think she'd stand a chance - Billy comes in. He asks if this is true - Adam is responsible for what happened to her? They tell him yes, and then Jack shares that he has teamed up with Victor to bring Adam down. Billy balks, but agrees eventually. Jack says they're hoping Heather will cooperate with the plan as well. Billy say Rafe may help to cover their butts legally. Sharon comes in, and Jack asks if she's okay with this, assuring her that she's not going into this alone - they're all with her. She and Ashley agree that they don't like the plan. Sharon says the only reason she is doing this is for her baby.
Heather and Rafe are still in the coffee house. Rafe gets a call from Billy to meet him at the Club regarding Adam. Heather gets a call from Phyllis to meet at the Club to discuss Adam. Heather and Rafe look at one another, and Heather says something is up - something big!
Billy meets with Rafe and tells him about Adam being behind the terrorizing of Ashley at the Ranch. Rafe realizes that he pretended to like him to keep him distracted - so he could frame his Aunt Estella! Billy tells him about the plan. Heather walks in and sits down with Phyllis, who fills her in on the plot too. Heather is concerned that it's vigilantism. Phyllis reminds her it would be nearly impossible to prove Adam's guilt in court - it's the only way! Heather says she could warn Adam, but Phyllis notes that after he made her feel cheap and used, she probably isn't going to pass up this chance to get back at him. Vikki walks in and Phyllis goes over and says she gave it her best shot with Heather. Vikki goes to the bar for a drink - Billy appears beside her. They discuss the revelations about Adam. Billy tells her about seeing Adam in the funeral home. They're puzzled - Billy says it's one more thing to find out tonight! Rafe walks over to Heather's table and they discuss the plan - Rafe says he's onboard. Heather makes her decision - she tells Phyllis she'll do it!
Nick is at the tree with Faith's plaque on it at the Abbott cabin. Sharon approaches. Nick remarks that Victor didn't mention her being a part of the plan. Sharon says she needed to see him first - she thinks their daughter might still be alive. Nick doesn't believe her - he tells her not to get carried away. Sharon tries to explain, saying she heard her cry and that she feels it in her bones. Nick vows to get the truth out of Adam. Nick is shaken about the idea that their baby may be out there somewhere. Nick goes off into the brush at the cabin and phones Phyllis, who is still at the Club. He tells her to sit down - he has something to tell her about Sharon's baby - his baby!
Victor arrives at Ashley's house and says Sharon is at the cabin with Nick, Heather is with Phyllis, and Billy is with Rafe. Ashley and Victor discuss poor Estella. He says he's sorry about that, and she adds that it probably would never have happened if he weren't so preoccupied with his machinations! Ashley tells Faith she hates to leave her, but it's her job to take care of all the scary monsters like Adam!
Adam returns to his room at the Club and calls out for Sharon, but he's alone. He is writing again when his phone rings - it's Sharon. She tells him to meet her at the Abbott cabin.
Adam arrives to meet Sharon at the cabin. He tells her he's glad she called, and suggests they go inside. She acts nervous, and says she wants to stay outside. Victor, who is in the cabin, peers out through the curtains at Adam and Sharon. Adam tells Sharon she looks beautiful in the moonlight. She hollers at him to stay where he is! Adam professes to her that he will be a better man, and tells her he was about to do something horrible and desperate tonight, but he couldn't go through with it - he needs her to save him again - his life depends on it! Nick is in the bushes and takes a photo which he sends to Phyllis at the Club - she relays to the others that Adam is at the cabin - the air is wrought with tension. Jack also gets the text and tells Ashley, at her house, that it's time. Inside the cabin, Victor scrunches up a photo of him holding Adam as a baby. As Adam continues to talk to Sharon, she suddenly says she's sorry. Just then, Adam is hit in the head with something and falls to the ground - knocked out cold!
